Woojer ZenGlow

Hydration, light and low-frequency sound in one sixty-minute session at Newport, Pasay.

Three things happen in this hour, and they are worth separating because they do different work. Your skin is cleansed and rehydrated, LED light runs over it, and a haptic band carries low-frequency sound through your body while both of those happen.

The first two are the facial. The third is the reason people book this one over the others, and it is the part most likely to be oversold elsewhere, so here is the plain version of what it is.

Hydra infusion

Cleansing and hydration at the surface. It clears the day off your skin and puts water back into it, which is most of why skin looks brighter when you sit up. In this climate that effect is real and it is also short-lived without a routine behind it.

LED light therapy

Red light for tone and calming, blue for the bacterial side of breakouts. It works by exposure over a course rather than in one dramatic session, so treat a single visit as maintenance rather than as a fix.

Vibroacoustic relaxation

The part that makes this different from every other facial on the menu. Low-frequency sound reaches you as vibration rather than as noise. Most people describe it as the point where they stop thinking about the rest of the day. The research on vibroacoustic work is small-scale and mostly about perceived relaxation, so we describe it as what it is rather than dress it as therapy.

When this is the wrong booking

If you came for melasma, active acne or lines, this is not the treatment that moves them. Each of those has its own protocol and we would rather move you than take the booking.

If you are dealing with a diagnosed anxiety or sleep disorder, an hour in a quiet room is not treatment for it. See a doctor, and come here for the hour afterwards if you want it.

Questions people ask

What is the Woojer part of the treatment?

Woojer makes wearable haptic devices. They carry low-frequency sound you feel through the body rather than only hear. During the facial you wear one, and the room's audio arrives as gentle vibration through the chest and back.

How much does it cost?

The list price is ₱6,499 for a 60 min session. Introductory rates run through parts of the year, so ask what today's rate is when you book.

Is this a medical treatment for stress or insomnia?

No. It is a facial with a relaxation layer. If you are dealing with a diagnosed anxiety or sleep disorder, that belongs with a doctor, and we would rather say so than let an hour in a nice room stand in for treatment.

Will it do anything for pigment, acne or lines?

It hydrates and the LED helps tone and calm, so skin looks better afterwards. Pigment, active acne and lines have their own treatments, and if that is what brought you here we will point you at the right one instead.

Can I have it if I have an implanted medical device?

Tell us at booking. The haptic layer is simply vibration, but we will run the facial without it rather than have you guess. The same goes for pregnancy.
